Okay, this is a study of waiting around a whole lot, and how I really need a better camera or something cause the camera I have is apparently too much for me to handle and most of my photos came out blurry as hell. Oh well. I'm counting on you, Panic! internet fandom, for much nicer photos from this show. If you have any, please share a link to them? *puppy dog eyes*

I want to start this out by saying that I never really thought that I'd see Paul in concert. Like, Paul in Miami? Well, that just seemed like an impossibility to me. When I saw that two dates were added to the already announced shows in Phoenix and LA never in a million years did I think that a show would be added here. The reaction when I saw that, yes, there is a show in Miami was quite epic. I believe I let out the biggest gasp of my life. Add in arms flailing and instant tearing up and I was a mess. For quite a while too.

I'm just so eternally grateful. I've seen Paul McCartney in concert! My life is complete.

Thank you so much, Paul, from the bottom of my heart for coming here, and rocking the hell out. I love you.

Full concert review here with lots of photos and videos. Probably not for slow internet connections.Collapse )

This is probably all jumbled and all over the place, and I'm most likely repeating things a lot, but I don't think I could have done this better. It was seriously the best night of my life. A night I also got to share with my mother. Thank you, Paul, for giving that to me. I will never forget it.

This review isn't going to be that detailed. I just want to mention some things here so that I don't forget. :)

Yesterday was a kick ass day. I got to meet Brendon and Spencer, and then see them perform. No threatening of rain kept me down!

And dear lord do I go on and on and on...

February 25, 1943 - November 29, 2001

I did finish my video late last night just a few hours before the 29th. It's really not very good, but I wanted to spread some George love out into the internet anyway.

It's basically just pictures and quotes set to sitar music that won't get me into trouble with YouTube. It's also quite long as I couldn't make myself cut out any of the photos I wanted to add.

I miss you, George.

This was a night of firsts for me: first time seeing Cobra, first time at the Respectable Street Cafe, and first concert on my own. Right off the bat I'll say two things: 1) My pictures suck, 2) My videos are decent.

Since the venue was an hour and twenty-one minutes away (thank you Google!) I left my house around 4:30, pulled some money out, grabbed some McDonalds for the road, and was on my way. There was an accident on the main road near me so I had to turn around and go down another one, but that's fine. Of course there was traffic on I-95, but besides that things went smoothly. I do have to say that I get so confused around downtown areas, and since the venue was in the downtown area of West Palm Beach, I was a little nervous. I turned left too early and had to backtrack, but I found the venue eventually, and there was even a convenient parking garage close by. I also get nervous about where to park. /o\

Anyway, there was already a line outside the place so after I looked around to see if there was a box office (I had my tickets at will call) (...there wasn't a box office per say), I made my way to the end of the line and waited. And ugh was it hot and humid outside. They called out for people who had to pick up their tickets so I ended up walking to another line, and finally got in 20 minutes before the start of the concert. Thank god I got there early and was able to get in. More on this later.

Right away I was confronted with the merch booth, so I looked to see if there was anything I liked. I ended up buying this dark grey one with their name, a cobra with shades, cupcakes, and spaceships on it. It was $20 so not too bad. I then picked my spot in front of the bar. I could get drinks without moving, and the bar had a step up that I could stand on and see clearly over people's heads. Very important for a short person like me. I liked my spot anyway.

Opening acts, Cobra Starship, and the venue not letting people with tickets inCollapse )

I got home around 12:30 am. It took a while to get home not because of traffic, but because I got lost for 20 minutes. *headdesk* I told you downtown areas are terrible for me.

All in all though it was a fantastic night! I would definitely see them again. :D

Whew. I got lazy (...and then distracted) after posting my Orlando show recap. Oops. Before I begin, people who are on my flist, if you haven't already and would like to receive a Christmas/Holiday card from me click here . I'd really love to send cards out to everyone even those who aren't sending cards out.

Show recap with 171 pictures (lol I went overboard)Collapse )

Whew. I'm done. Hopefully, huh flist-ers? ;)

Seriously, I'm still sore. My lower back hurts like hell when I stand and I have this pain in only my right calf muscle. It sorta feels like I'll get a Charlie Horse, which I hope I don't. Wtf, I'm apparently getting old at 23 years of age. Not cool. But whatever, it's totally worth it. I'd definitely do it all again. :D

Concert review with a buttload of photos and three crappy videos...Collapse )

Miami concert review is next! Then I promise I'll shut-up about this, flist. I know it can't be fun for those who don't care. :/

Okay, so no one really wants to hear about the 3 and a half hour drive from South Florida to Orlando. Trust me. It was pretty monotonous with all the roads and cars and trees. Also, no one really wants to hear about the hotel either. It was nice, but really not important.

I got to the UCF Arena around 2:45-ish and walked down the line until I saw Erin (theoryoferin) waving at me from her seat. This was my first time meeting a flist-er, so it was special. I have to say it was pretty easy going. We talked, commented about our fellow people in line, talked to said people in line, joked, failed at the English language and band names (Stobra Carship!), etc. It was fun. I tried to eat a sub and chips but I only ate close to half the sandwich and a handful of chips before my anxiety/nervous energy took over and I couldn't eat another bite.

The parts with Zack, spazzing out, and meeting THE BOYS! <333Collapse )

lol I just got excited reading my own M&G experience over.

Question, is there a fast way of uploading pictures to LJ's ScrapBook? Like is there a software out there that will do it a lot quicker? Never mind. I found it lol. None of the clients work for me?

Next up, Orlando concert pictures (and video)! :D

Happy 22nd Birthday, Mr. Ross! I hope it is/was a great one.

I wanted to put this up earlier, but I had to go do stuff. Better late than never, I guess. Also, this is my first Panic picspam. Really predictable on when I do one, but I'm nothing but predictable.

Oh, and these photos have shown up in other picspams today, but I love them, so see them again. Alright, I'll shut up now.

From the show in Auckland, New Zealand. Isn't that sweet?

Where do I start? I had such a great time that night with Deeana dee_bloom218 and didn't want it to end.

She picked me up a little after 5 and we headed over to the Fillmore in Miami Beach. We made pretty decent time considering we were traveling through rush hour traffic. Anyway, after some driving up and down we decided to park in the parking garage across the street and walk to where there is food to eat. We found this pizza place pretty quickly, so we ate there. Two big slices of cheese pizza and a drink for about $6? Not bad at all. We then walked to the Fillmore with my camera in my pants. And the camera almost fell out on our way over, which made me and Deeana laugh. Her out of amusement and me out of embarrassment. LOL. It totally looked...weird, if you know what I mean.

Once inside the place we bought a beer and headed to our seats. We had Mezzanine seats so we were up high, but we scored seats in the second row, so it wasn't all that bad. I could see everything okay. We got there when Phantom Planet was already playing, so. No waiting beforehand is nice.

Review-ishCollapse )

Picture time! Both Phantom and Hush had terrible lighting conditions so those are my worst pictures, I'm afraid. Motion City Soundtrack had slightly better lighting conditions, and so did Panic at times, but those pictures suck, too. My pictures suck, folks. I'm sharing them anyway, so be prepared for blurry, grainy photos. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Photos of Billy at the London Film and Comic Con. Aww, it's been so long! ♥ The hair doesn't look...full, does it?  *hugs him*  Ahahaha, I can't help it. He's so adorable.

So in the boredness that was my ENTIRE day, I made my first set of themed icons. It's nothing too spectacular. In fact, they are fairly simple looking. It's multifandom though so there should be something everyone of you would enjoy. Oh, and just as a warning, I'm going to be cross-posting this to all the icon communities I'm in, so beware flist!

It"s not a movie, it"s a way of life.Collapse )
